The Advanced Manufacturing Technician (AMT) program is a five-semester program that combines proven workplace components of apprenticeship with an earn-and learn model. Students learn about electricity, fluid power, mechanics, fabrication, and robotics in a classroom setting and through on-the-job training with one of our participating manufacturers.
At the end of the program, students will have earned an associate degree in applied science in industrial maintenance technology – advanced manufacturing technician track, certification as an advanced manufacturing technician (AMT) and two years of work experience — ready to enter the workforce full time with all the skills needed to succeed.
