The FAME Model
Recruit Top Talent with FAME
The FAME model facilitates employer-led partnerships between your company and local educational institutions and establishes a channel for recruiting diverse, high-achieving and career-oriented students. Once established, the cooperative of local employers that make up the FAME Chapter will generate a continuous pipeline of skilled technicians through the FAME training program.
FAME students will gain experience within a modern manufacturing environment, as well as a simulated shop floor for classroom experience, to become global-best, entry-level, multiskilled maintenance technicians.
The practice areas include lessons that tackle the Manufacturing Core Exercises (MCEs) and Professional Behaviors as well as:

Troubleshooting
FAME graduates will receive an associate degree with at least 60 credit hours and earn more than 1,800 hours of on-the-job, paid work experience and training that will launch their career as a manufacturing technician. Graduates are prepared for an accelerated career in maintenance upon program completion.
