Learn how to start a FAME Chapter
The purpose of the Academy is to ensure a strong and successful start to new FAME AMT chapters by providing ongoing and regular technical assistance to build a successful partnership, prepare employers for their role as chapter leadership and as AMT sponsors, support the college partner through necessary preparation for the AMT program, and provide guidance to the chapter as they work to recruit the first class.
What is the Academy?
The Manufacturing Institute teaches employers, college partners, and other stakeholders to successfully set up and run a FAME program. To enroll, a chapter location MUST have identified a Backbone Organization.
Technical Support
The Manufacturing Institute staff, as FAME USA, support all aspects of both development and ongoing continuous improvement. This includes training for college instructors
Why Join?
The chapter will have an opportunity to learn as a cohort and develop a national peer network of fellow FAME chapter representatives. This training ensures all stakeholders learn the program elements to ensure a successful chapter. There is an enrollment fee of $2,500 per chapter that provides full access to learning and program materials for chapter stakeholders.
