The FAME USA Network is thrilled to announce the 2025 FAME National Conference, taking place from May 20 to May 22, 2025, in the dynamic city of Charlotte, NC. This premier event is designed for members of the FAME USA Network, as well as FAME students, and those interested in launching new FAME chapters or engaging as partners in innovative ways. The conference provides a unique opportunity to gather with industry leaders, educators, and workforce development professionals to shape the future of manufacturing talent development.

Conference Focus: Shaping the Future of Manufacturing Talent 
The 2025 FAME National Conference will highlight innovative strategies, proven models, and emerging trends that support the education and development of skilled talent in manufacturing. We are seeking proposals for breakout sessions that showcase effective, employer-led solutions with tangible impacts on the recruitment, training, and professional development of the next generation of manufacturing professionals.

Call for Proposals: Share Your Expertise

We invite you to submit a proposal to present a breakout session at this year’s conference. Our focus is on sessions that offer actionable insights and practical solutions to the challenges faced by those involved in the FAME USA Network and those looking to start new FAME chapters. This is your chance to inspire and equip attendees with strategies that they can implement in their own chapters or organizations.

Please note: We are only accepting proposals for employer-led workforce solutions. Sales presentations will not be considered.
Session Format

Each session will be a 45-minute breakout on either May 21st or 22nd. Please recommend the format that will most effectively communicate your content, whether it be a workshop, panel discussion, or another interactive format tailored to your audience.

Evaluation Criteria

All submissions will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
• Quality and clarity of submission
• Relevance to the current challenges and opportunities within the FAME USA Network
• Alignment with the conference’s focus on practical, scalable solutions
• Potential for application by other chapters or future FAME initiatives
• Speaker qualifications and experience

Submission Guidelines

Please submit your proposal by EOD Friday, Oct 18, 2024. Proposals will be reviewed by our selection committee, and you will be notified of your selection by Oct 30, 2025. Selected speakers will be invited to participate in a briefing call before the conference.

Speaker Responsibilities
• Register for the conference and attend in person; travel and accommodation expenses are the responsibility of the speaker
• Bring any printed materials or presentation aids needed for your session
• Coordinate with any co-presenters in advance of the conference
• Submit final presentation slides and any accompanying videos by April 30, 2025
• Provide the names, titles, emails, company logos, headshots, and biographies of all presenters
